LBK Christmas

Hunter with Daddy and Grandpa.
My handsome boy!!

Hunter with Great Grandma Ribordy

My little man. We look like twins.. Hahaha Daddy.

So we flew to LBk for more Christmas fun!! All of Nathan's extended family lives there. Well most of them. It was nice to meet his extended family and see some old faces. Hunter enjoyed all the festivities and of course he loved all his gifts. He is one spoiled little baby. Now we have to change out some of his toys and rearrange things at the house so everything will fit. We hope to put our home for sale in the next month or two. We just need some time to get a couple of things done and find a Realtor. We had a wonderful Christmas in Lubbock. I even got to see my old college roommate Meghan, it was so fun to catch up with old friends. Oh, how I miss the college lifestyle. I was so carefree and only had school to worry about. I am so thankful I met my wonderful husband who always makes me feel like a queen everyday. I love my life and would not change it.

Big Boy

My handsome boy is getting so big!! I just love every minute with him. He can now say "Mama, Dada and kinda bye bye." He does not know what he is saying, but still it melts my heart. We are working on waving bye-bye; blowing kisses; and clapping his hands. We have not mastered any yet! Oh, and on Dec. 22nd we went to the ER. Hunter had high fevers and then he had blood work, a foley, Chest X-ray, and RSV swab. It was so sad he was screaming the whole time. Luckily, he just had a high white blood cell count and a viral pattern in his Chest x-ray. He was started on antibiotics and now we have to take a sick baby to Lubbock for Christmas.

Wilson Christmas

Sunday was Christmas with the Wilson's. Hunter loved his gifts, mostly he liked the paper. We all got so many nice gifts. It was a great start to the Christmas season. Hunter and Harper are only 1 month apart it is so fun to see them interact. This year we had our new little edition to be thankfull for and the one on the way. I am so busy with Hunter I sometimes forget I am even pregnant. I know it sounds crazy, but when you are so involved with your sick boy I just forget. Hunter continued to have high fevers all day. So we went to the EC when we arrived in Houston to make sure everything was ok.

Christmas in Dallas!

My first Texas Tech Football. I Love it!
So sleepy...

Hunter and Harper Noel

Trying to get a cute pic together!

Harper with her Aunt Ali!!

Aylmer Family expanded!!

We went to Dallas with Hunter and the dogs for Christmas with the Johansen's. It was so fun to see all the family and for Hunter to meet all his second cousins. He is now going through a stranger anxiety phase. So all of my loving aunt's and uncle's wanted to hold our little man. And he would just look at me and scream. Then, I learned I had to hide so he could not see me and it was not nearly as bad. What a crazy day, not only was it our family Christmas it was Nathan's birthday. He always gets the short end on his birthday. We did sing Happy Birthday and make him feel extra special. Then, that night we drove to his parents house. We were so tired and went straight to sleep only to wake up at 4 am with a sick baby. Hunter had a temperature of 105.6.... We gave him Tylenol and then it went down to 104. Finally, he went back to sleep, but I was to worried about him to get any rest. He was coughing and sounded horrible, then he would wake up just crying in pain. It was so heart breaking. I hate for the little man to get sick.

Christimas!!

My happy boys!!

Christmas Cheer!!

Crawling...

We took our Christmas Card pics today. It was quite a challenge with our little man. He was loving the grass and would not look at the camera for anything. We did get a good pic to send out. I love Christmas I just wish I would have got my act together sooner. We are going out of town for Christmas to see Nathan's family in Lubbock. I have only been back once since I graduated almost 4 years ago. We always try to go down for a game. We just seem to get so busy with life. I can't wait to go to Chimy's the only thing is I don't get to have a Rita:( Maybe I will get a virgin!!

Angel!!

What??
Taking pictures by the tree in our holiday PJ's!! He loves the Christmas tree. He wants to pull the lights down and all the oddments.. We have to keep a close eye on him. Oh, and he does not follow directions or listen. I know he is a little too young, but we would like to start early. He is getting faster and faster with his crawling and he loves to pull up on everything. So daring. I get so nervous with his crazy stunts. Literally, he was hanging from the entertainment cabinet the other day. No joke. This boy has no Fear..

Decorating the Tree

Hunter helping mommy and daddy decorate the tree!!! He was so helpful! I just can't wait till he opens his Christmas gifts because he loves to eat any type of paper!! Nathan said he had ink on his face yesterday because he got into the magazines... When you take away anything that is off limits he starts screaming and crying. Oh great.... Fun times, with a spoiled little baby.

SUPRISE!!

It all started Nov. 5th 2008. I was working that day and seemed to feel extra bloated. I told Nathan when I got home that I was going to finally start my period after all I was done breastfeeding 2 months ago. The next morning Nov. 6th I was just about to put my nuva-ring in to promote my period and decided to take a pregnancy test.

SURPRISE!!! It was positive!!! I had a little freak out moment it was 7:30 in the morning and Nathan was getting ready for work. He was just as shocked as I was. I kept saying I just had a baby this can't be wright. As soon as the doctor's office opened I was the first one calling. I wanted to get an appointment ASAP. Since, I was unsure of how pregnant I was. They kept asking me my last menstrual cycle and I kept saying you don't understand I just had a baby 6 months ago and never had a period. I then told them I was looking really pregnant and I needed to see the doctor NOW. I am sure they thought I was over reacting. I went in for blood work that day.

The following day they called and confirmed my levels show I am pregnant. Now they wanted me to come back to the office in 3 days to get lab work again to make sure the levels increase and this is a good pregnancy. I went and the level went up 7,000. They still could not tell me how far along I was. Not knowing was the hardest part. I did not want to tell anyone yet because I was not sure how pregnant I was???

A couple of days after my lab work I started getting very nauseated and even had some emesiss(vomit)... I then started taking my zofran which does not seem to work. Finally on Nov. 24th the doctor saw me. I had an ultra sound and everything looks great I am between 8-9 weeks pregnant!!! I am so happy that the baby has a strong heart beat and everything looks good. Nathan and I are over the shock and excited to meet our new little edition. The due date might change after my next ultra sound depending on how the baby is growing. Expected Due date: July 8, 2009.

This means Hunter will be 14.5 months apart from his new sibling!! They will be best friends. That's all for now. I will keep everyone posted on the details!!

Crawling

Hunter started crawling today. It was so exciting!!! He can go for a little while and then he gets tired and stops for a break. He loves crawling. Nathan and I both thought he would crawl at 7 months and today he is 7 months 3 days old. We both win!! The other day we put our tree up and the next thing you know, Hunter is under the tree touching the lights. I know this is the start of him getting into everything. I look over at him and say Hunter what are you doing and then he just looks at me with a mischievous look and smiles. He is finding all sorts of new discovers now that he is crawling around the floor. He also loves the door stopper behind the door. It is so fun to watch him discover the world around him. I just love my little pumpkin. Oh, today he also tried turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and a roll. He really liked the roll. Papa gave him the whole thing and he was just stuffing it in his mouth!! It was so funny. He looked like a toddler sitting there eating his roll. My baby is growing up fast.

Vegas!!

For an early Christmas present. My sister and I decided to surprise the boys and take them to VEGAS!!! Our plan worked... We were able to keep a secret for 2 months.. Very hard for us girls. Nathan came home from work at lunch time and I had everything ready. That's when I told him we were going on a trip and he did not have to go back to work. Of coarse, he thought I was joking and I said then why is all our stuff packed??? He still thought it was a joke. Then, he began guessing where we were headed... Norman for the game? Florida? Cape Cod? it went on and on. This was very entertaining.

We were about to head out and our neighbor said "Have fun in VEGAS." Then he looked over at me and in shock said "WERE GOING TO VEGAS?!" The surprise did not stop there. When we landed in Vegas we meet up with Nathan's parents. He was so surprised.

The fun did not stop all weekend we had a great time!! It was relaxing and a ton of fun. My parents went, the babies, Cristin and Chris, and his parents. We all had a blast here are some pics. The only bad part is we never won any money.. Nathan and I have the worst luck when it comes to winning:((

Work

I have been working all weekend and missing out on little Hunter's fun. Nathan has been one busy dad. He spend Saturday with Chris his brother in law. They both had babysitting duties, they watched football and hung out. Hunter loves his walker and gets so excited when he gets into things. Example, the other day he walked over to the chair pulled down his diaper bag and started getting everything out. I called him out and said "Hunter who did this? Did my Lil man make a mess?" He just looked up at me with a big smile, he knew exactly what he was doing. I just love that guy he cracks me up. On Sunday, my mom was having Hunter withdraws.... She had to see him. Granted my mom probably does not go more than two days with out babysitting him. She had not seen him since Tuesday and missed him. Nathan dropped Hunter off at Nana and Papa's. He spent some time playing with them. My parents bought a jumpy house before Hunter was born. My mom wants to get it out every time he is over and is convinced he is old enough. So today was the day, Hunter's first jumpy house experience. Immediately after, my dad blew up the jumpy house and Hunter got one good look at it. He started crying. Then, they tried to get him comfortable with the jumpy house and he really through a fit. I can just picture it now. My mom is very persistent and just said we will try again next month.

Little Gym

Reese has been attending little gym. Hunter started this Thursday. He absolutely loves it. I thought that most baby's scream with joy when they get excited (like Hunter does). The teacher is instructing us on different activities. Hunter and Reese are having a blast, but they are the only babies screaming at the top of their lungs with excitement. I look over at Cristin and say I think we must have taught them this.... I don't know when I scream with excitement, but somehow Hunter and Reese have learned to do the same. I think it is so funny and cute. I just thought all Lil nuggets did it?? Let me know if your little one does the scream thing. I would love to know. Just to give me piece of mind that we are not creating little screamers.

Bully

I was babysitting Hunter and Reese. When I realized what a bully Hunter had become. I kept getting out different toys and giving them to Reese. Hunter would watch me give the toy to Reese and then scoot over to her and grab it right out of her hand and/or mouth. I was shocked. I then would try to distract Hunter and give him other toys. But, it did not work Hunter wanted everything I gave Reese. I guess he does not like sharing and since he is bigger and stronger than Reese she does not have a fair chance. One day Reese will hold her own and it will be here sooner than we think. I just want Hunter to share and not be a bully. Say a little prayer!!

Matching!

Another day of matching outfits. We bought these cute outfits a long time ago. And, never got any pictures. Hunter has almost grown out of his so of course Cristin took the time to do a photo shoot. I could not believe that Reese was sitting on Hunter's back like this. It is so funny because they are only 3 lbs apart. Reese attend her first day of Mother's Day Out on Tuesday. Lucky for me it was the first day Hunter was not as cranky. The teachers thought he felt more comfortable because Reese was with him. I just love that he likes the company of his cousin. They are already best friends. I can just see Hunter protecting little Reese as they get older.

I want my Mommy..

Our newest thing. Is Hunter only wanting to be with me. Every time I walk into a room and he was perfectly content with out me he starts winning until I pick him up. I love that he knows who I am and wants me. But, it is equally frustrating for Nathan and other people around him. We were over at my mom's and he was playing then he heard my voice and spotted me. Smart boy would not stop until I went to get him. My mom assured me I was the exact same way and would just not talk when someone else had me. Tricky mom!! She knows best. I am going to start the new tactic to see what happens.

Out Shopping!!

Hunter is starting to get bored of being in his stroller. So today we went to Target to buy a few items and I put him in the cart. He was so curious at first. He kept looking around trying to grab everything and watching me put things in the basket. After the newness wore off he decided mommy's arms would be more comfortable. So I ended up carrying him until we left. We will just have to keep trying to get him to be more independent.

Play Date!

Addison came over for a play date with Hunter. She is exactly 2 months older. It is amazing what happens in just two short months she is crawling and pulling up on everything. Hunter loved his new friend until she started steeling his pacifier. Then, it was on. We had to get him another one because she took it for good. They were so cute together. Hunter loves all women younger and older he is a flirt like his daddy. It was nice to have a friend to help with Reese and Hunter it made the day go by fast.

Happy Halloween!

Today is Hunter's first Halloween. He started out the day going to mother's day out. Then they called me after 1 hour and he had a low grade fever. I think it is due to his shots the day before. Poor baby was so fussy and hot:(( Then we drove to my sisters and had their pictures done. They were so precious in their sock monkey costumes!!! We got several amazing photos and we are ordered so many fun pictures. After that, Hunter and Reese were exhausted see photo. We drove back home and then went over to my parents. Hunter did not go trick or treating. He was so fussy and still had a slight fever. Our first Halloween was adventurous. Can't wait for many more to come.
