Walking/Running!! Chaos...

My baby girl starting walking May 16th, 2010. She now walks everywhere!! I can't believe it.. I love watching her she is so funny and now getting into everything that Hunter got into when he started walking. It is so amazing!! She does not talk alot just says Mommma.

Hunter is going through a challenging stage. He is into hitting/biting and not being very friendly we also has some problems with temper tantrums. I feel overwhelmed by it all I don't want my child to be the trouble maker.... I am just telling myself it is just due to his age and maybe his classroom. It consist of 14 boys and 2 girls... The teacher tells me everyone is biting right now. It just gets to me.. Although, lil Parker got moved up to the big girl room and also got bit on the arm. I know things like this happen and I never get mad, but other mom's get so angry.

Last week, Hunter stuck a rock and a blue crayon up his nose we had to go to the ER and ENT. They want to remove his adenoids due to his breathing and respiratory issues. It was one hectic week and it all happened while he was at school. WOW.

This weekend we are going to try to relax at the LAKE with the Wilson's I am excited.

Busy Family!!

We have been super busy lately, I am working 2 jobs and sometimes 6 days a week. We celebrated my birthday and anniversary this week. Now we have a busy weekend with two parties and I have to work on Sunday:)) I can not wait till the summer starts and I am off... I need to just have some fun time with my babies b/c they are growing way to fast.

Parker 10months she is waving, clapping, saying mommma all the time and love to be held. She has been standing for a while on her own, but is scared to take a step. She is getting a fabulous tan that everyone is jealous of and is sooo much fun!!! I love my baby girl:))

Hunter 2yr. Mr. independent he has to do everything on his own, even pick out his clothes and put them on. He went to school in a long sleeve shirt today so we sent an extra since it is going to be 90 degrees. Crazy boy. He can be very sweet and gives me kisses and signs to Parker in the car when she is crying. He knows his ABC's can count to 12 and sign many other songs including the Hokey pokey!!! I love my fun boy!!

My Husband 29 has been up to no good... JK he has been doing the usual cleaning helping and raising a family while dealing with me:))

My sweet little boy is two. I can hardly believe it April 21, 2008. A day that changed my life forever. Hunter is growing up fast he is now peeing on the potty sometimes. Talking in sentences, singing songs, counting, saying colors and loving on his mommy. He is such a mommy's boy. Mommy do it mommy do it. That's his thing. He also wants to do everything on his own. He is growing up way to fast. I love every new experience with my baby boy.

On Saturday we had his party. He was so excited saying it's hunter's birthday. Singing to himself and even talking about everyone coming to his party. Granted we talked about it for about a week!!! We rented a train, had a blow up house and tons of food and fun. He loved every second of his party so much fun. The TRAIN was a hit with everyone well worth the money. Here are a few pics. Things lately have been super busy. We have been helping my mom pack up b/c they are moving to a high rise this Friday.
My kids/jobs having been keeping me busy. Plus I am trying to plan 2 birthday parties, get ready for my sister's 2nd baby, and plan a couple of showers for my friends!! It is crazy. I will try to be better with the blog, but it is alot sometimes.

Heavy Heart

I don't really talk about it much, but today I can not stop thinking about it.... I have seen soo many precious little ones leave this earth way too soon. I just want to take a TIME OUT to pray for their families and don't take any moment in life for granted. When I feel stressed or think Hunter is acting out. I just remember he is healthy and we are all her on this earth. Kiss everyone you care about and let them know who much you love them. I feel very emotional right now. I normally don't get like this often, but sometimes it just builds up in me and I think of all the kids I have taken care of with cancer that had to leave this life too early and then I think of there parents and it kills me. It always puts my life into perspective and I can focus on the more important things. I feel blessed with everything in my life.

Hunter almost 2!!

Hunter is almost 2 and so full of life. He is talking up a storm sleeping better in his own big boy bed and developing a little bit of a temper. He is having some issues with hitting and saying NO to Parker and everyone. We are trying to be consistent and do three warnings with placing his hands down and explaining what he did was wrong, then time out on number three. It does not seem to be working yet... He is also very determined to get what he wants so we are experiencing crazy fits. I hope we see an end to this behavior soon. If anyone has any suggestions we are open. On, a positive note he is learning so much knows his colors, all animals and noises, some of ABC's, and depending on the day can count!! What a big boy!!

Parker McLaine Wilson is truly a blessing. I am so happy to have my precious little girl. She is the happiest most loving 8 month old. She loves crawling now and is pulling up on everything. She never stops talking. Loves to eat alot and is always wants mommy's love!! She is the best cuddle bug ever. The only bad thing is she is growing way too fast... I wish I could freeze time sometimes.

I have been super busy lately... With my new job and family life. Last weekend we went out of town to see Grandma, Grandpa and Harper and Ella. It was so much fun we played at BONKERS.. Hunter and Parker loved it. Parker is now crawling and pulling up on everything. She is so happy and content. She plays with the dogs and cracks up. She loves to talk and her mommy. Daddy is getting sad, b/c he thinks both kids always want mommy. They do love him it's just sometimes you need mommy. This weekend is Cristin's baby shower, so much fun. I will post pics this weekend. We are just going to relax with the family. Oh, we also went to the rodeo with Hunter on Tuesday. He liked it, but he wanted to go pet horseyyy... He was upset when he was unable to do that. So we left early, to get to bed on time. Hunter also had an ear infection. His first one since the tubes were put in. It was so horrible his right ear had green gunk draining out... not so good. We started antibiotics on Wed. night, he is still not feeling like his self yet. Poor guy. What a trooper.

So, I have been sick with the flu. It has been a not so fun experience. I had to go to see my sister at her minor care emergency center. She started an IV on me one of the best I have ever had then drew my blood, and gave me fluids. Then, the doctor wanted to do a CT scan to check out my abd. and pelvis for my UC. After, that they found I had a large cysts on my R ovary?? and they told me I need to f/u with my OB. I left feeling a little bit better with a long list of other problems. The good news my sister is a great nurse!! And I am finally feeling better now I just pray no one else gets sick!! I will start posting pics soon. Parker is growing more and more everyday still no crawling, but she is trying and Hunter is developing a huge vocabulary I can hardly keep up with all his energy. So much fun.

I get to pick my kids up and be with my husband every night. S0 much fun!! We are looking for a new car for me!! My sweet loving laughable baby girl is 6 months old. I can't hardly believe it... I know I always say that, but seriously how does time go bye so fast. She is the best baby ever. She hardly ever cries only if she is hungry and is overall content. We have not mastered sleeping through the night yet she loves to nurse at night and I allow it. She is sitting up, trying to scoot, but doesn't seem to be to interested in crawling yet. As you all know this is a good thing it is much easier to have a stationary one than a mover. I will let my little girl be calm and laid back for as long as she wants. She loves to squeal and do spit/blow bubbles. We have a doctor appointment next week so then I will post her stats. Oh, she loves to eat all fruits/veggies and we just started puffs and yogurt. My girl is healthy!!

Parker 1st Christmas and Hunter's 2nd Christmas was a blast. Hunter loved opening presents and really enjoyed Santa Clause, and Snowmen. Parker enjoyed watching her older brother open his presents and she liked playing with her new toys!! We had an awesome Christmas and it was so nice to have our in laws there, they were very helpful and Hunter loves to play with his grandma and grandpa. The Steger's came over and my parents we had a feast and then went to look at Christmas lights!! I love the holidays I was able to be off for a week and spend time with the family. What a blessing this holiday season. I am so grateful and blessed we did not do alot of gifts this year we just enjoyed our time together. It is much simpler that way. Merry Christmas to everyone!!!

Christmas Eve was celebrated at my house with my parents, in laws, and the family. It was such a nice relaxing day. We attempted making a gingerbread house and tried out my new cookie cutters. It was an experience, but my mother in law reminded me I could only get better!! We ate and drank and played with the kids. Then we got our cookies ready for Santa and began to assemble all the toys. Well, I went to bed to get a good night sleep for Santa!!

Parker's First Christmas!!

We had our big family Christmas at my aunt's house in Dallas. It is one crazy event. Oh, and my husbands birthday weekend. Sorry, babe.. He is always having Christmas on his birthday. He turned the big 29 this year. One more year to the big 30.. Next year we will celebrate his birthday in November!! Anyway, it was crazy with about 56 people there. We enjoyed playing, opening gifts, and catching up with all our family. Thanks for a great memorable Christmas!!

We traveled to Dallas for the Wilson Christmas!! It was so nice for us all to be together since it doesn't happen as much as we would like. Hunter enjoyed playing with his cousins. Here are some pic of our everyday fun. Hunter is getting jealous of Parker a lot these days. All he says is put her down.. We are working on that. Hunter is talking up a storm using two, or three word phrases. Like i don know, all done, mine, yeah momma, i ovve you ( i love you). So cute and fun. Parker is eating cereal/fruit. She loves to eat and cries when it is all gone. We are having some difficulty with breast feeding. Recently, she has not wanted to breast feed. I think she loves the bottle and it is easier. Any suggestions to try and get her to go back to breastfeeding?? I might stop if I can't get this resolved. It is just really frustrating and I am not ready to stop yet.

Sick Boy

I have been so busy with work and my sick kids it has been hard to update my blog. So lately Hunter has been really sick. He had a high fever for 3 days with tyelnol and motrin around the clock. Then, he developed diarrhea, emesiss, and became very lethargic. I brought him in to the doctor and they said he probably had pneumonia since he was negative for the flu. His O2 sats were 92% at the doctor's office and she thought we might have to be admitted to the hospital. They did a breathing treatment and they went up to 95% still not great, but ok. We were then sent to the hospital for some tests. Hunter had a CXR, lab work and finally around 9pm we got to go home. Then, we waited for results. The on-call doctor said it was not pneumonia, but was not sure what it was. Hunter still ran high fevers around 102.6-103 all night so scary... The next day we started on an antibiotic and went and had a few more labs done. We will not know the results of them until late next week. WOW that was exhausting. I deal with sick kids at work all day and it is so much harder when it is your own little one. Hunter was a real trooper, after getting stuck for his blood work he told the lady thank you and all done. It was quite possibly the cutest thing ever.
On a positive note after the antibiotics were started he has been doing great and is really increasing his vocabulary. More on that later.

Thanksgiving!!

I love turkey day it is so much fun with all our family. We just went over to my mom's and hung out and ate lots of yummy food. My mom's stuffing is the best. We are also going to celebrate again on Saturday, because my sister had to work!! Two fun filled days with family and food. It would only be right to say what I am thankful for...My family- I love my husband and can't imagine a life without him and our beautiful babies; or my extended family. They truly complete me.. Our health is so important and I realize just how important life is on a daily basis working at a children's cancer hospital. We are blessed to have each day. Even if some days are challenging. And for our GOD who makes all of this possible. I have many other things to be thankful for these are the big one's in my life.

Now here are some pics of us trying to get a cute family pic. It was not working... at all. Maybe next year. Hunter loves to be wild and rebellious already at such a young age.

I had to work all weekend:(( Daddy had the kids. He loves spending time with them, but really appreciates when I stay home. It is one hard job. Especially since I leave the house at 5:45am and don't get home until 8:00pm. That is one long day with our kids. Most of the time they are outside playing because Hunter is obsessed with outside. Thanks to everyone who was able to come to here baptism it meant a lot to us and Parker. Love ya mean it. Hunter had his first trick or treating experience! It was a blast he went with the neighbor's kids and went up to every door like a big boy. He would say Hellooo, Oweeen, and Bye!! It was so cute, Parker went too and Daddy held her while I took pictures. Oh, and before the trick or treating we were trying to get Hunter to wear the mow hat that is why everyone is wearing it not him. We had lots of family in town and it made the experience great. That morning we went on a breast cancer walk in my neighborhood. I just love living in the country:)) One of the reason Hunter was a cow is every time we are driving he looks out the windows and sees cows everywhere. Then, the rest of the car trip all he can say is MOOOWWW.. It is too funny.

head. 50%. The doctor did a CBC count on her because of her fever and nothing came back so he thought it was a viral infection. Which means they do nothing just let it pass. She had a fever the rest of Friday and then again on Sunday evening. I am not sure what our family has. Nathan started getting sick Sunday night with a fever. I hope this is the last of it for our family.

Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to the pumpkin patch down the street from our house. It was fun!!! Hunter loved the pumpkins and Parker was good as always. They are dressed in Tech gear for the game. Hunter knows how to say GAME DAY.. It is so cute. He loves football with his daddy. Then we went to the nursery planted some flowers in our yard. My mom and dad came over for dinner and it was a perfect Saturday with my family except for the Tech game of coarse. I love being at home for the weekends. We have a great time just hanging out with family!! Sunday is off to the Texans game for more family fun. I love the Fall.

SICK

So Hunter had a fever on Monday and then it went away less than 24 hours so I related it to teething. Then yesterday, I felt weak and had chills when I got home from work I had a fever of 100.5. I had Nathan take care of me and went to bed. I felt better this morning and I have an interview at 10:00. The daycare just called and Parker has a fever of 101.5. Nathan is on his way to pick her up. She is so little to be sick she has never had a fever. Luckily, I have a doctor's appointment today to get her 4 month shots. So now it will turn into a sick visit. We will keep you posted on the outcome. Say a little prayer we feel better. I hate being sick and it is even worse when your kids are sick. So sad... Hunter has learned the word "NO" he is telling us NO all the time. If he does not want to do something ie, get dressed, diaper changes etc. He just says no nononono. Until we get it. Interesting, in a way my sweet little boy is now demanding and also learned to hit. He has not lost all of his sweet charm just some of it. He also has had a hard time listening to directions, he even got a bad report card from school. They said he was not following directions. One can only hope this is just a phase and he will grow out of it quickly.

So Hunter was taking a nap and Parker had a photo shot with mommy. She is so funny.. I just look at her and she smiles. I love it. She is wearing one of Hunter's old ZooTano outfits ( if that is how you spell it). She is getting so big, I can hardly believe it. She is almost 4 months old. Her hair is not falling out, but is getting longer and lighter. We may have a Blondie and her eyes are still blue?? Who knows?? We just love our little girl. She completes our family. Hunter likes to lay next to her and try and pick her up. He does get jealous at times and wants mommy to put her down. Overall, everything is busy, but good. My life is going to work and taking care of the kids. I can't believe it is almost Nov. I have been busy and might be changing jobs to be a school nurse shortly. We will see.

Katy Rice Harvest Festival

This weekend my mom, Cristin, Chris, Reese, and the Wilson's went to the annal Katy rice festival. It was fun, because as kids we always went and even danced there. The kids had fun, but were not tall enough to ride any rides. We ate and just looked around at all the booths. Then we went home to play some more and went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant. Chris and Cristin went to a wedding so we babysat Reese. Hunter and Reese love to play, but they act like brother and sister. So cute right... well until the fighting starts and Hunter takes a toy from Reese then Reese gets even with a bite or pulling his clothes. Luckily, she apologizes and gives him kisses after some crying. WOW I can't even imagine whats going to happen when Parker gets a little older and her and Hunter start fighting...

Dewberry Farms

So I had a great idea to go to this fun place called Dewberry Farms. They have everything from a petting zoo to hay rides. So fun right... Not so much. We got there early and I have never seen so many people in my life the lines were so long. I wanted to go home, but Nathan went exploring and found another line and it was much shorter. 3omin later we were in. Next, we thought we would go on the hay ride to the pumpkin patch another long line. Hunter was getting very anxious so we just went and walked through the corn maze. Parker was crying and upset. I think she was hungry so we went and saw the animals and left. Hunter wanted to see a cow and they did not have one so he just kept saying "moooow." Overall I think if it was less crowded and the kids were older we would have enjoyed it more. $22 dollars later we learned our lesson. Dewberry farms is not for the Wilson family just quite yet. We went to the beach on Labor Day with our family of 4 and my mom. It was spur of the moment and we had a blast!! Here are some pics. Our car has been acting up and we took it to the shop today only to find out it was going to cost 5,000 or so to fix it:(( Not worth it since it has 100,000 miles on it. So off we went to find a new car for are growing family. I love the Tahoe, but we need something more fuel efficient. We feel in love with the Ford Flex.. It is really new and looks different from the outside, but the inside is amazing... It is like a limo it has so much room. And it was just the right price. We had to order it so we will not pick it up till Tuesday. I can't wait. The only thing is Nathan will be driving it most of the time. He drops the kids off and picks them up. Then the days I am off he will drive the Audi and I will drive the Flex. I will post pics when we get our look alike woody:))

We got to hang out with the whole family on Saturday and Thanks to the Steger's and my mom for watching the kids buy a new car.

Hunter loves to play with Reese they had the best time with all of Reese awesome toys. Hunter even picked mac&cheese out of Reese's hair for her then picked her up out of the highchair. What a little gentlemen. My mom and sister said they have never seen anything so funny and sweet before. I am so glad all the cousins are close in age it is so much fun for my sister and I.

We went to pump it up today, since Nathan took the day off. It was so much fun. Hunter loves this place we might even have his birthday party here. His favorite thing to do is go down the huge blow up slide. He does this almost the whole time..going down backwards. What a crazy guy. Nathan had fun bouncing around with him and climbing up and down. Parker and I just watched the boys. It was a great afternoon. I love when my husband does not have to work!!

2 months.. WOW, I can't believe it has already been 2 months. Time has just flown right bye. My little girl is getting so big. She weight in at 11.5 lbs 50%, 24.5 inches 50%. And I forgot what her head was, but I know it was in the 50% as well. So Parker is adverage all around. She is growing and developmentally right on track. She sleeps 4-5 hours at a time at night so everything is going great. Hunter and Reese love to touch her and try to pick her up. At least they love her!! She loves to smile, coo, and tummy time. She also loves to sleep on her tummy... I know it is not aloud, but she loves it.

Another Day of Daycare

happy at home!!!

Today was Hunter's 3rd day of daycare. Nathan dropped him off and then went to work. I called around 9:30am and they said he was having a rough morning crying on and off. I talked to the daycare director and she suggested bringing him everyday for a couple of hours so he would get used to it. I totally agree it is just on my days off I want to spend all of my time with my lil man. Parker is doing great!! She is happy and content since all of her needs are meet. No complaints from her. I did call one more time that day and he ate some lunch and took an hour nap. I just want my baby to be happy. It is so hard with all this change.

Day Care

Today was Hunter and Parker's first day of daycare. I have called 3 times and so far Hunter has been upset on and off all day and Parker has cried some. I am very upset and just want to go and hold my babies... I finally went to pick them up at 3:30pm and Parker was crying when I got there and then when I went to get Hunter he was crying at the door. They said every time he went outside he cried at the gate for momma, momma.. Just broke my heart. I cried on the way home and called my mom and asked her if she could stop working and watch my babies. I know they will get used to it and enjoy the other kids. When we got home Hunter was so tired and cranky from not sleeping or eating much the night was not our usual and I had to rock him to sleep. I have not done that in 10 months or so. I can't believe I have to go to work tomorrow and the kids have to go back to daycare. I just pray that they do better tomorrow to make me feel OK with leaving them. It is so hard to leave them. I miss my babies. Oh, and Parker had a hard time breastfeeding last night which made me sad as well.

Chick-fil-a

OK for those of you who don't know I love Chick-fil-a. Hunter loves to play it is clean and fun to get out of the house. I was in town so I met Nathan for lunch at Chick-fil-a. I was walking in and carrying the infant seat and Hunter in the other arm. This little girl around six looked at her mom and asked "Is that octo-mom?" Her mom said, "No" and I just walked inside. It was the funniest thing I have ever heard because I sometimes feel like I have more than two. Then we played and when we were done I was ordering ice cream and Hunter started projectile vomiting all over the counter and me. I ran to the restroom and could not believe what just happened. What a day all for some Chick-fil-a.

Hunter loves duck's and knows what sound they make. Tonight we took Hunter to go feed the duck's he was so happy!! He wanted to chase the ducks, go in the water with them and even ate the bread. So last week was my first full week with no one to help me...It was quite stressful at times... I wish my mom did not have to go back to work everything seems so much easier with her around to help. We miss our Nana. Did I mention my mom does everything from entertaining the kids to all house hold chores. It is awesome. I had some very crazy days and I can hardly even remember how many diapers I changed or who did what. I was able to capture some of our moments together.. Hunter has been getting a little more independent. However, when he wants to do something he does not understand why mommy can't or will not let him. He is used to us going outside to swim, leaving the house to meet people and doing fun things. Unfortunately with a newborn it is hard to do some of those things... Luckily, when my husband gets home he caters to Hunter and takes him to the park and plays golf with him in the backyard. I was able to go over to my sister's house on Thursday and we went to Chick-fil-a and played at her house. It was so much fun. Hunter can say (Eesse) and loves to play with her. I am so glad we are so close and do everything together she is my best friend:))

Hunter loves to play with his new vaccum, eat peanut butter, give his sister kisses, put her diapers away in the diaper geinie, swim outside, do anything outside, and be with his fav mommy.

He is saying lots of words: up, golf, ball, dadada, momma, papa, nana, eese (reese), paw (parker), and lots of others around 20 words.. I am to tired to think of them all...

Parker is cooing and smiling today I layed her in her crib on her stomach for tummy time and she rolled over to her back. This is the first time she has rolled over I could not believe it, so I tried it again and sure enough she can roll over form tummy to back. We had to go to the doctor today, because she was sick with lots of mucous and congestion. Of coarse we thought it was viral, but wanted to make sure since she is only 7 weeks. We left the doctor with nothing, it is viral.

Random post just had to get everything in that I can remember since I have been to tired to blog. I will get better.

Nathan's parents came in town this weekend to spend some time with their grand kids it was so fun. We went out to eat on Friday and got to have our favorite Rita's!! Then we got home, got the kids to bed and went out to visit and have a beer with our neighbors they are so nice:)) They also have two kids and she is a stay at home mom. She said she could help me anytime.. Just what I need a friend to help and our kids can play. Yes!! Then on Saturday I was able to get a goood long nap in while the grandparents played with Hunter and watched Parker. The boys took Hunter to a fun zone and the girls took naps. Then we grilled out and played outside. On Sunday we did a little shopping and then the had to leave it was so sad. Hunter really bonded with them and loves to play with grandma and grandpa. He was giving them kisses and almost left with them. Thank you so much for a great weekend.. Wish ya'll lived closer.

This weekend I went with the babies my mom, Reese, and Cristin to Dallas for my uncle's backyard wedding. Nathan went to his 10 year high school reunion. I wanted to go with him, but we did not have a babysitter for lil Parker and she is still breastfeeding. So I went and had fun with my family instead. It was a fun/challenging weekend. We stayed up late and only went for the day. Plus with all three little ones on a 4 hour car ride things get a little crazy.. Overall it went smoothly. My sister, mom and I had alot of time catching up on our long road trip. We stopped a couple of times at play/rest areas to give the kids a break. I did not get as many pictures as I wanted and since Nate was not around I don't have any with me..Oh, well maybe next time.

Parker is also growing fast she is smiling, and starting to coo. She is mostly a happy baby sometimes fussy at night right before bed. I think she gets gassy. Poor baby girl. She is such a great edition to our family. When she cries Hunter points to wherever she is and I have to go take care of her immediately. Hunter is a big helper he gets her binky, softy, diaper, and loves to give her pats and kisses. He tries to sing rock a by baby to her as well. Parker is very interested in Hunter and I pray they grow up to be best buddies. Parker eats every 3-4 hours and is awake 4 hours during the day. She loves tummy time and can really lift her head up high. I mainly pump and give her the bottle, but at night I breast feed. It seems to calm her down and soothe her. I am very lucky to have my mom helping me almost everyday. When she is not here it is very hard and sometimes stressful. Thanks MOM you are the best mom around. I hope I can be just like you.

15 months

Hunter went to his 15 month appointment. Wow I can't believe he is growing so fast. His stats Height 32.6 inches 90% Weight 22.4 lbs. 20%. He is one lean mean fight machine.. His ear tubes are doing great and he is meeting all his developmental milestones. He is talking and saying lots of words. He is running and when I say running this kid is fast. Every time we are out in public people tell us he should be a track star. He knows where his head, eyes, nose, belly button, ears, knees, toes, and tongue are. He tries to sing songs with us, but they are not very clear he does the hand motions to the wheels on the bus, if your happy and you know it, and head shoulder knees and toes. His vocabulary is around 20 words. He knows what I am asking him to do and most of the time follows directions. Not always... I do not have a perfect son. He is into everything and very mischievous. He loves cars and always wants to drive. Recently he started wanting to take showers as well. My baby is growing up way to fast.

Peanut Butter

Need I say more. My child loves peanut butter, he will point to the pantry then we get in there and he only wants the peanut butter. Just like his mommy. So today I let him have fun and dig in. So precious. Parker will soon love peanut butter as well.

Golfing

Hunter loves everything daddy does including golfing. They are always in the backyard hitting balls and practicing. It is the cutest thing ever. Hunter has so much energy he will just run around the yard with dad. I love my boys. Here are the best golfers I know. Oh, did I mention my son is the next tiger woods. We even watch golf on TV and Hunter says Daddy's.. Smart boy.

Lake House Weekend.

What a fun weekend I spent all week in Dallas with my mom and relatives, then we were off to the Wilson lake house. It was so nice to see all of the Wilson's.. I love the lake it is so relaxing and not to mention. My mother-in-law makes the best rita's in town. We hung out swam, jet skied, and got a little sun. Parker got to meet her great grandma!! Mommy got a little break and Hunter had his first jet ski ride. He was not that in to it. The water was a little ruff for our 15 month old. Hunter loved to sit in the boat with his grandpa and honk the horn.. So cute. Hunter loves his girl cousins and had tons of fun. Parker just did her thing:)) I love the lake did I already say that.. I must be sleep deprived.

I have been so busy with two children.. I have not had time to blog. Nathan and I have been going to dinners with friends, traveling to Dallas, Pool time, and Lake days. My life seems to fly bye I can't believe Parker is about to be 6 weeks old and my maternity leave is almost over:(( Being a mom of two brings lots of challenges everyday. I have to let alot of things go and just relax.. Easier said then done. Here are some things that have been going on these last 3 weeks.

My Babies!!

I know Hunter is not a baby anymore, but he will always be my baby. Parker is almost 2 weeks old so we went for her 2 week check up today. My mom watched Hunter and Parker and I went to the doctor. I love my pediatrician he is so nice and never rushed!!! We just talk about random stuff and not always the baby. Parker got a clean bill of health!! She now weights 7lb 15 oz and has grown a inch. She is ranking 50% in all measurements. It is hard to believe 2 weeks has already gone by. Hunter is adjusting very well to his new lil sis. He is either kissing her giving her the bottle or pushing her away from me. For the most part he is sweet to his new lil sister. For only being 14 months old. I feel so blessed to have two healthy children. I love my husband and my family, I can't imagine anything different. I am trying to savor every newborn minute, knowing this is my last... Here is Hunter holding his new sister.

Today is Parker's actual due date and Reese's 1st birthday. I was going to just hang out at the house all day, but changed my mind. I got all my many diaper bags and milk together and ventured out of the house to meet my mom, sister, Chris, Reese and my dad for lunch. It was really fun to see everyone. Hunter and Reese went crazy in the tunnel. Everyone thought they were twins because they are almost the same size. Hunter is learning new words everyday. He knows how to say Nana, Papa, ball, up, thank you, and Lola. He also knows where different body parts are like nose, belly button, ear, eyes, mouth, toes, feet. Hunter loves dancing around the house and is very hyper active. Today we starting blowing kisses too. He is adjusting to little Parker he is very interested in her and every time she makes a noise he wants to check on her. He is jealous when I am feeding her and holding her at times. Making the change from one child to two is challenging when they both need things at the same time. I am trying my best to be the best mommy possible and attend to all their needs. Hunter is still really young and very attached to mommy to make things a little more challenging during simple tasks. Here are some pictures from the week. I hope to get some of Hunter and Parker together it is just really hard.

She can already hold her binky in her mouth looks like she is taking after her brother. My friend Lauren stopped by and made Parker a really cute blanket, bow, and burp clothes!!! She also helped out while Nathan got a shower and I pumped. Thanks, so much. Today was just relaxing, and I was able to catch up on some laundry and house hold chores!!

Hunter came home last night and was so happy to be home.. He was running around like a manic and trying out Parker's bouncy seat. He also sung her in the swing, a little ruff though. This morning he gave her kisses.. so cute we got out the camera and by that point he was over it:(( Maybe next time. Daddy and Hunter went to the beach with all the family. I would have loved to go, but it is too hot and sticky for a 5 day old. I will post pics when they get home. My day will consist of feeding, changing diapers and trying to get ahead on chores.

First Doctor's Appointment..

Hunter spent the night with Nana and Papa one of our few nights without our boy. We miss him, but I had to wake up early and get Parker and I ready for her doctor's appointment. Our doctor is on his honeymoon so we saw another doctor in the practice. Parker is doing well and she is healthy. She now weights 7lb 4oz. My milk is in and I am feeling alot of pain... I forgot how painful it was. I still am just pumping to give myself a rest. I tried breastfeeding again today, but she was not really into it. Maybe tomorrow. Any suggestions to deal with the pain of your milk coming in??? My grandmother told me to get plenty of support and make sure I was wearing a good bra. We also went to see my dad today for lunch. It was really fun. Hunter loved his adventure we went to the 59 floor observation deck and looked out over the Houston sky line. My mom and I felt nauseous.

We got discharged from the hospital and Parker is doing great. However she is a super hungry girl.. All she wants to do is eat or suck. Since, the minute she came out. It is great b/c she is awesome at latching on, but it is hurting me:(( I had to give her some formula and she loved it!! Hunter and Nana were waiting for us when we got home and Hunter was happy to see the new edition and even sang to her in her bassinet. (rock a by baby) Then, he just forgot about her and did his own thing with his cousin Reese. Cristin and Chris stopped by for dinner and to see the new edition. Parker has so much hair we are able to use real bows not just headbands... So funny. She is so tiny and now weighs 7lb 6oz. We are just adjusting to our new edition with the help of my mom... What would I do alone!!

The Delivery..

I started Pit @ 0530 am. I was feeling pretty good not too much pain with contractions 3-5 min apart. Then around 0900 they started to get uncomfortable, I asked for my epidural and there was only one girl in front of me. My doctor stopped by and broke my water I was only 2 cm dilated at that time. Then, it was my turn. However, this did not happen they had an emergency and a patient on the L&D floor had to be intubated. And sent to ICU. Which left me in extreme pain with contractions 1 min. apart and no pain medicine. I was so uncomfortable and my mom, sister, and husband were trying to coach me through the contrations and pain. It was not what I had planned... Last delivery I had to wait for my epidural and I did not want to repeat that, but I was in the same situation again. Then, another emergency in the OR on the L&D floor. Before I knew it I was a 4 with no epidural. At 1100 am I finally got an epidural, but shortly discovered it was not working. We called the anesthesiologist back to the room to give me a bolus in the mean time. Things were really picking up and way more painful I was freaking out trying to be strong and breathe through them. My nurse checked me it was 1145 and I was 8cm. She called the doctor to come stat. No anesthesiologist yet. It got worse I could feel the baby coming out. Sure enough I was a 10 and the baby was crowing. This is extremely painful without a working epidural and the doctor was still not there. I was trying to wait, but with every contraction Parker was getting lower. I was not even pushing or anything. I could see panic in my husband, mom's and my eyes. My nurse was amazing. Then Parker came sliding out. I never even pushed and my nurse delivered her, my mom cut the cord and it was over. WOW what an experience.... It was very intense and crazy. My doctor was there 15min later. It was definitely a roller coaster ride for everyone involved. I am proud of myself for having a natural child birth, but will not be doing that again. One crazy day, but all worth it for my lil girl.

Finally, we have a room. Nathan and I are all checked in and I just got cervidal. I am still 1 cm dilated and my cervix is favorable:)) My friend Meredith stopped by to see me and my parents. My in-laws are at our house watching Hunter and the dogs. Thank god for parents!! Here are some pics of me getting checked in and some of Hunter waiting for his baby sister.

Bad News!!

I went in to the hospital and all the rooms were full. They sent me home... I knew this could happen, but never in a million years did I think it would happen to me. I was so disappointed and upset. I am now at home waiting for the hospital to call me with an open bed. Of course, we kept saying how easy this was to be on schedule and now look at us. I am praying every second we get a bed and I can meet Parker. My sister, in-laws, dad, and friends all took off work and are waiting. It is just really frustrating. We will keep everyone posted.

In a couple of hours we will be off to the hospital. I think I am ready for lil miss Parker... I am done being prego it will just be a huge adjustment for our lil man. I think?? We are scheduled to be at the hospital at 5pm tonight and get cervidal... My husband does not want me to get cervidal because last time it put me into labor, and I was unable to get an epidural all night. Long painful night to say the least. We will most likely welcome our new edition in the morning sometime if everything goes as planned. I am really excited to see what she looks like and meet our new little baby. Nathan and Hunter already have there pink shirts picked out and I will just be wearing a stylish hospital gown!! My friend works at the same hospital that I will be delivering at and she has already made sure I am on the schedule for induction (what a great friend)!!! She will come check on me when I get there. love ya mere. Then my sister and the family will make sure I am all settled in for the night. After, that it is Nathan and I left up to the unknown.. Say a little prayer that we welcome a healthy baby girl. We will keep you posted!!

My husband has to be one of the best dad's around most of the time. He is so great with Hunter they really our buddies. Everything in our home is dada's per Hunter. When Nathan gets home from work the play, go for a run, and just act like crazy boys. I am so lucky. I know Nathan will be a great dad the second time around as well. So today we all got a treat when Hunter slept in till 0830!! Then we woke up had breakfast and it was time to work. Nathan washed the car and Hunter and I played outside. Then, we went to my parents house for lunch. My dad is a wonderful father!! He is always understanding and would never let me get hurt. I love you dad!!! It was a great way to spend Father's Day. I am feeling really large and tired. I am about to pop!! Parker will be here Thursday. So we finally packed our bags for the hospital. I am so ready to meet my baby girl! That's it for now. Ear Tubes..

I don't know what to say. The procedure was so fast and just a little stressful for mommy. I was so sad leaving him and it did not help that he was screaming for me. Also when we got there he still had a fever and I was almost certain they were going to send us home:(( Thankfully we were able to get the ear tubes. The last two days Hunter was not eating/drinking much. He also has had a fever of 101.5 even with Tylenol and Motrin. Poor little man has not felt well at all just sleeping the day away. The worst part for him is we have to do ear drops twice a day and he freaks out it is so sad. On a positive note he felt much better today and is starting to act like himself again. This is the other day before the tubes just having some fun in the pool with Sadie our dog. When he concentrates he makes this face and it is in all my pictures.. Enjoy

Surgery....

Hunter has had chronic ear infections. 7 in 5 months... He is constantly waking up in the middle of the night screaming in pain. It has now gotten so bad that it causes fluid build up/drainage in his eyes and throat. He had a hearing test on Wed. and luckily he passed with flying colors. Thank the lord!! He had a temp. of 102.9 yesterday and was so lifeless. He just laid around from 2-9pm with no energy. That is not at all like our lil baby. He normally is so hyperactive. We are getting ear tubes placed tomorrow if he remains afebrile. I am anxious, but hopeful that this will solve some of our issues. I am being induced on next Thurs, and am still dilated 1 cm. I just pray that lil Parker does not come before we get Hunter off to surgery and back to his normal happy active self. The procedure is really short only 30min. I just hope I can be with him until he goes into the room and before he wakes up. That's it for now I will keep everyone posted on Hunter's surgery and Parker's arrival.

I am almost done!!! I will be induced on June 25th in less than two weeks if nothing happens before!! I am 1 cm dilated and praying everyday that something will happen. I am so uncomfortable and can't wait to meet my little princess.. She is very active in my belly:) Hunter always lifts up my shirt to see my belly. I don't think he knows what is going on. It will be a difficult adjustment for him. He still feels like my little baby. My pregnancy journeys are almost over. I have been prego for 2 years and will be taking a long break after this!! To enjoy my family of four and two dogs:))

Hunter has upgraded to a big boy bed!! With no choice:)) He loves his new bed and fish sheets from pottery barn. We say time to go nite-nite with the fish and he will go running to his room. Hunter loves to help out around the house and with yard work. He is a very busy lil guy. He loves his rake and when Daddy vacuums. Last night he cried until Daddy vacuumed and then he when Daddy was done he would point to the next room and clap for Daddy. It was so stinking funny, I never laughed so hard. Nathan was just as excited he loves vacuuming:)) Every day when Daddy comes home Hunter runs to his closet gets his tennis shoes out and says this daddas... Nathan takes Hunter on a run every night and it is so cute that Hunter knows his routine. Also, one night we were going to skip bath time because it was getting late and Hunter went running into his bathroom and would not stop until we gave him a bath.. What a smart little boy!!!

I have 24 more days till the arrival of Parker McLaine!! I am so ready for this pregnancy to be over. I am tired and getting big.. The only thing I am worried about is how Hunter will react to his new lil sister. He is very attached to his mommy and I know he will not completely understand what is going on since he will just be 14 months old. I am excited to be in our new house and Hunter loves it. We live right next to a park and have an awesome pool with a splash pad. This weekend Reese came over and we all played at the pool/splash pad. They were running around squealing and laughing with excitement it was the cutest thing I have ever seen. My mom is officially on summer break and now is Hunter's new nanny. I feel so relived and happy that Nana is with my baby. Now, we just have to get Hunter to sleep all night in his new big boy bed. I will post a pic later it is so cute!! Oh, I had an ultrasound to check on Parker's size and she is 5lb 4oz and looks like Hunter from the 3D pics. I am so excited to meet her she also has hair!! Yeah, for bows. That's it for now.

I got a really bad stomach virus and could not stop vommiting. I went to my OB and was admitted straight to the hospital for dehydration/and ketones in my urine. My mom and Hunter were with me and we all went on the adventure. I was able to get rehydrated and take some anti-emetics and leave that night. I had to get stuck 4 times for my IV and my arms are all bruised up. Luckly, Parker is doing well and I am scheduled for induction on June 25th at 0500. I am so excited to meet our little princess. It will be an amazing experience. Some of the nurses reconized me at the hospital since I was just there a year ago. OPPS!!! I am one fertile girl:))

Happy Anniversary!!

It was our 2 year Anniversary on Cinco de Mayo!! We have had alot happen in two short years we feel very blessed with our life and our family. I love my husband and am so glad we found each other. I thank god everyday. Unfortunately, this was my stomach virus days so all I could do was lay in bed and run to the bathroom. But he took care of me and our son. So our vows really do stand true. We will have to celebrate later when I feel better. I still feel blessed.

Parker's Baby Shower

My friend and sister and mom hosted a baby shower for Parker. It was so fun and generous. We played some games, ate really great food, and got a ton of stuff for Parker and her room. It was a great day!! I really appreciate everything they did for me. I also had some amazing news we sold our house and found a brand new home in Katy!! We will be moving May 19th if everything goes as planned. It is such a huge relief to finally sell our home.. We have already outgrown the home. I can't wait to post pics of our new home!! Pray that everything goes as planned.

Hunter's first Birthday

Today was Hunter's Birthday party.. The theme was our lil cupcake is turing one!!! It was the worst rainy day yet and we planned to have it all outside. It still turned out great we had the jumpy house in the spare bedroom and Hunter had a blast opening presents. He did not enjoy the cupcake I made him. He touched the icing and did not like his hand being sticky so he cried. He was not intersted in any of the cupcake... I did not get a ton of pictures because I had a photographer there to capture the moments. I will post them as soon as I get them. Hunter was exhausted after his party he feel asleep in his Grandpa's lap. So precious. Thank you a ton to all my friends/family who came to celebrate Hunter's milestone. Many more memories to come.

Easter!!

We went to the Lake House for Easter weekend. Hunter got to play with his cousins Ella and Harper. He loves Ella she is 4 years old, and very entertaining!! Harper is one month younger than Hunter and it was fun to watch them interact. Hunter was walking/running up and down the hill in the yard all weekend. The weather turned out to be colder than we planned, but we all still had a blast. Hunter had his second Easter egg hunt and dyed Easter eggs. He kept calling the Easter eggs "ball." So precious. He just talks all the time.. We don't really understand it all, but it is so cute. Then, he ate some egg salad!! He enjoyed seeing his Grandma and Grandpa. After, a fun filled weekend it was good to get back home to our daily routine. Happy Easter!!

7 months!

I am offically 7 months pregnant or 28 weeks. My belly is so big!! Everyone at work/home comments on my ever growing bump and tells me I look further along. And, I feel huge. I have been having more pain to my back/pelvic area this pregnancy. Plus braxton hicks contrations. My doctor checked me on Friday to make sure I was not having any pre-term labor symptoms and luckily my cervix is closed and firm.. I also had my glucose testing done and have not heard anything yet. I am looking forward to having Parker McLaine by the end of June. If my doctor still goes with the original plan of induction around the end of June. I think part of the pain is because I am carrying this baby much lower and working/chasing my little one around. I love feeling my baby move inside me it is amazing, but I love being able to hold and bond with my baby too. I just need to stay healthy until her arrival!!

Easter Egg Hunt!

Today we went to Katy for Hunter's first Easter egg Hunt. He was able to get two Easter eggs in his basket. He was so excited to see the Easter bunny from afar, the minute he went to get on his lap he freaked out. Cristin was trying to get him to calm down, but he was not having anything to do with that Easter bunny. Maybe next year... Then, we went to see our dream home and make sure it had not sold yet. After, that we had a realxing weekend with the family and went for a nice little walk. I can not wait to add our new little edition and make more memeories with our family. I just love every minute of being a mom. Nathan is the most attentive dad ever and Hunter is the light of our lives. Just a little note on how thankfull we are for a little man!

Bluebonnet Photos!!

Cristin and I went to a little bluebonnet patch right by my house. We tried to get some good pictures, but all the babies wanted to do was try and eat the flowers. It was hard to get them to even look at the camera. Oh, well it was the experience that counts. He they are!!

Sand Box

Hunter loves to slide and play outside. Today we went to lunch with my mom, Cristin, Reese, Mary Kathryn, and Caroline at Lupe Tortilla's. Hunter loved the sand box and playing with the other kids he loves to walk around and slide down the slide. He really enjoyed the play house opening and closing the door. I think we will have to get him a little play house when we get our new house with the big yard!! Our home has been on the market for a month and I am so tired of showings all the time I just want a contract before Parker arrives. I know I need to be patient, but last night Nathan and I did our nightly routine. Cleaned/picked up the house and packed up the dogs and Hunter and we were out running around waiting for our showing to be done. It is exhausting.... Everyone say a little prayer that we sell our house fast.

Teething

Hunter has been teething for over a week. He is working on getting his two front teeth which will give him four teeth total!! He has been extremely cranky and needy. I only enjoy it because my baby will sit still for a little while and wants to snuggle with mommy.. It seems to be very painful for the little guy and he has not been eating much, has diarrhea, and a low grade fever. I am now unsure if the diarrhea is coming from the teething or the formula. It is horrible because his little bottom is getting red. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions. I was thinking on starting regular milk a little early instead of switching formula's. Any suggestions??

11 Months!!

March 21st
WOW!! It is hard to believe my little baby is 11 months old. My life is more complete and meaningful with Hunter in my life. I can't even remember my life before him...
Milestones:
Hunter is walking!!! He loves to walk around the house and to different furniture items. He always has a destination. Either my arms or another item!!
Hunter can play peak a boo, hide and seek, so big, wave bye-bye and dance. He is such a character.
Hunter laughs out loud for no reason if I start laughing then he joins in:))
Hunter always wants his mommy, when I am home he follows me cries for me and will not let me out of his site.
Hunter can move furniture. He loves rearranging our house and pushing things around the living room. Such a strong boy.
Hunter can climb anything he is always trying to climb things. He loves the stairs.
Hunter likes reading and pop up books.
Hunter is full of energy and does not stop... He is one crazy wild child.
He hates eating and will not sit still long enough to drink more than one ounce. I think he might be ADHD?? Or just a boy!!!
He tries to imitate what we say, but he can say momma, Dada, and Lola.

That's all for now. I just love my crazy boy and can't believe he will be a big brother in 3 short months. It is going to be a big adjustment. He has started playing with a doll. My husband does not like it, but we have to get him used to something.
